2009 Browning Chase Annual Picnic
The 2009 Browning Chase annual picnic was a success, even though the rain and cold tried to hamper our fun. Our gracious neighbor Gene opened his garage so residents could take shelter from the cold and rain. The food was excellent, a big thank you to the board for choosing a great restaurant for catering. If anyone has the name of the restaurant, please post it in the comments and I will add them to the site.
Congratulations to all the winners of the gift cards, I will spend it wisely. And yes, that means I won one!
Thanks again to all who was involved in planning. It was a great time, and I am already looking forward to next year. And if we had any food left over, Falcons play tomorrow night at eight… the party is at your place!
See some pictures I took here, and if you have any, send them to me and I will post them.
The picnic did turn out well despite the windy, cold weather. We were glad have it at our house due to the weather. The caterer was the Petite Aurberge (SP) which is located in the Toco Hill Shipping Center. The board wanted to provide a different menu this year, and chose thie because of its reputation and Mark’s family connection. They did a fantastic job at a reasonable cost.
Joel,
The name of the restuarant that catered the picnic is Petite Auberge.
Copngtas on winning one of the door prizes.

We were only there for a minute, but it was great seeing neighbors and friends. Petite Auberge is one of our favorite restaurants. It’s Alsace which means it serves German and French food. The name means little inn. Try it – you’ll like it. The restaurant is having an October fest next Saturday so check their website for information.
